Showcase & Recital Lineups & More Info!
Hi all! Click on the buttons above to download the pdfs of the lineups/show orders for both shows.
Reminder- the Showcase is competition solos/duets/trios only, and the Recital is all dancers.
Also, if you are 1st-2nd grade Jazz/Tap or Kinder ballet/tap, your costumes are called "3in1s", meaning they have one base and two skirts. They came with 2 flowers, please attach one of those flowers to the fringe skirt on the loop provided.
ALL CLASSES WITH HAIRPIECES- If you received a bow as a hairpiece it goes directly on top of ponytail/braid. If you received a clip (rhinestone, flower, etc), that goes clipped diagonal top left of ponytail/braid.
Need any of the information again? It's all here at: www.highattitudedanceacademy.com/shows All costumes came home with dancers this week! GET THOSE COSTUMES OUT OF BAGS, HUNG ON HANGERS, STEAMED IF NEEDED AND ORGANIZED WITH BRING FROM HOME ITEMS. Also, it's a good idea to try on all costume pieces and make any small alterations needed to make sure your dancer is comfortable.
NEW THIS YEAR!! HADA will be going green and entering the tech world with electronic programs! Keep an eye out for an email from tututix/etix with your programs for the weekend, or scan the QR code at the event to access your programs. So, don't forget your phones when you come to the show!
REMINDERS:
-the "GROUP COSTUME DETAILS" page is very important to look at right now, because it tells what you need to supply from home for each costume as well as hair style and makeup for each group. This gives you time to buy/order/prepare.
-please use hair gel and hairspray and secure bangs back in hairstyle for a more professional, put together look for all ages.
-parents are responsible for dancers before, during, and after the show, except for when in the hands of the HADA staff when going on and coming off stage. Please plan to know details and do all costume changes and have dancers to backstage hallway 3-4 dances prior to each dance your child is in.
-dancers may be in the audience, but please enter and exit ONLY between dances, not during dances.
-dancers do not need a ticket, but may be asked to sit in the back area or on a lap if the audience sells out.
-if you know you'll be moving around a lot/entering exiting audience frequently, please sit on an aisle/in the back.
-all dancers should stay for the finale, and report to backstage hallway 3 dances before the finale (after the last dance of the show).
-please pick dancers up on the stage immediately following the show.
-regular dance classes are finished for the season on April 28th, and complete after May 6. Check out the summer schedule for new opportunities.
I'll see you at stage next week!
-Crystal
